Implementation of policies that support research and innovation for health: Cases of Mozambique, Senegal & Tanzania

The important roles played by research and innovation in health delivery cannot be over-emphasised.

Seeking to understand implementation of research and innovation for health policies requires an attempt to delineate and discuss what national research for health systems are.

This paper reports on a study that reviewed existing policies supporting research and innovation systems for health in Mozambique, Senegal, and Tanzania. The main research question for the study was ‘what are the policies and strategies in place to support research and innovation systems for health in the selected countries and to what extent these have been implemented’.
